I'm going to drill the heck out of my next batch, see how that goes I guess. Messing with primers really slows me down. And I feel the need....

I use the pocket cleaners and reamers that come with the Lyman multi tool, chuck it on my power drill, I was worried it takes out too much brass from the pocket, but primers seat nicely.

I have the CH4D swage die set, and I am not thrilled with it.

I get deformation on rims of .223/5.56 brass and so they get difficult to slide in and out of my press shell holder.

I will probably try the Lee swage set up next.

Make sure your new seating setup has a rod that supports the case from the inside.
Your case runs are getting distorted because they are not strong enough to support the case while swaging in a standard shell holder.

I think the Lee swage tool supports from the inside with a rod from above, so for $40 bucks I will try it.

Probably should have just bought the Dillon, but hey I am saving tons of money and accumulating defective tools!

The dillon has more leverage than a typical reloading press because the total stroke of the swager is around 1/4" or so compared to around 4" or more on most reloading presses.

I use an RCBS die and button that's similar. Dillon probably copied the concept. It's cheaper, but has to be used on a single stage.
