    It's Saturday Evening...

It's stupid hot outside and I need to manufacture some rounds.

I am going to crack an ice cold O'Doul's (non-alcoholic beer) and get to work on some .45 acp.

    WHO'S WITH ME!?!?!?

I am, but I beat you to it. Started my reloading this morning while it was still cool, will finish tomorrow AM before it heats up. It's just too hot right now to think about loading. I'd be worried the powder would spontaneously combust!

I've been set-up in the house with the A/C cranked all day. Loaded up some 7.62x39mm. Now it's time to crack open an ice cold Stella Artois.

Mine aren't new... I am just breaking into the stash. I do have to find some soon, as the stash is dwindling.

I was at the Del Mar gun show today and the lines at the reloading supplies booths were about 50 people long from the time I got there at 11:30am to the time I left at 2:30pm!

Mine are not new either. But I placed an order on some out of stock CCI #34 LR primers on 7-6-09 from Grafs and they will be here next week. Took 5 months to get SR primers from powder valley. Just order what you need from grafs , wait it out or cancell if you find it in stock.

i'm on the same track: after dinner (and maybe a game) i'm going to start sorting .45 brass. 1x for the 230gr warm practice loads, 2x+ for the 200gr plinker/newbie loads.

I was off today. I had a million things to do, but it was way too hot. I reloaded a little since I have a small AC in my gun room. I kind of bummed it today. Watched tv, took a nap, read calguns and XD talk, worked on cleaning up an old texan shotgun press, etc.

Tomorrow I will be hitting the steel madness competition at Norco (so cal.).
I hope its not as hot as today.

I got lucky the last week or two. My brother scored me 6 bulk packs of 22 at Chinamart, I picked up 2000 cci 450 primers from a local guy who just got his order, 2000 win sp primers and a pound of powder for $20 from a guy that I do work for, and I would have had an 8 pound jug of win 231 if someone had been home on friday to sign for it. Things are looking up.

I am loading some 357 Sig...Tried doing it with lead bullets that I casted myself, but cannot get the seating correct, so I abandoned that idea and went back to the plated bullets that I use...I was able to score 500 small pistol primmers at Angeles the other day....still had some left as of yesterday...500 limit though

You gotta have balance in your life and it sounds like you have it. A saturday watching TV and having a nap sounds like a good plan every once and a while.

I too kinda winged it today... at the same time, trying not to stray to far from the AC.

Now tomorrow is a different story, we're gonna send some projectiles down range.
