DAA casefeeder for Dillon 550 doesn't fit

I just received a Double Alpha casefeeder for the Dillon 550. I have started to install it, and I am having an issue with the replacement case feed plate that mounts to the press platform. The roller for the primer feed actuator rod is making contact on the down stroke with the primer feed assembly. If I tighten down the primer feed, the ram cannot be fully lowered. I am including a picture with it lowered, that is with the primer feed assembly unbolted and tilted to the side. The two rollers do not line up either.

What should I do to correct this?

I can’t really see what you’ve done but, I’d suggest going back through the instructions. I’ve had one on a 550 since they first came out, works fine.
Another possibility is call double alpha for advice.

      Here's their response.

I think you mounted the brass Feeder oke but in every system there is a margin what I will explain

I have this brass Feeder myself and when I mounted the system I noticed that the fitment is narrow see movie and yes it is tight (+-1mm)

I included a little movie from here so you can see the fitment is tight, but we were looking what could be wrong with it

Be course you are the first customer with this complain we were wondering and start looking after all we sold many of this product without any complains

Again the primer slide can be set , the Brass Feeder bracket can be set , the head were the shell plate is on and the Brass Feeder Bracket can be set

All these components can be set so it will fit, please try to set these so it will fit - again all the Brass Feeders come from on batch and there is no difference in them

      Hope this helps
