Bass Pro Reloading Components are Depressing

Was in San Jose so decided to check out the only Bass Pro Shops in the area (bad idea I know) Surprised to see they have CFE-BLK powder and quite a stash of various primers all locked behind the glass display! Long line of people waiting to buy ammo, asked the employee if I can get the powder and primers and go front to pay, nope she told me. Is San Jose paranoid or Bass Pro getting hysterical themselves?

Are people in San Jose crazy? The bass pro shop in Rancho has its shelves stocked and no line because the prices are 30% higher than what we thought the highest was going to be.
