Woo hoo!....supplies are starting to come back into inventory....

....but when I look at the prices, all I can say is "OUCH"!

I've had plenty to last me a while (especially at the rate I've been shooting lately)....I won't be buying any until prices come back down. If they don't, then not until I am running out....

    Thanks for the heads-up though...

      $26-$28 per thousand isn't a bad price.

Wolf primers are good stuff. For small rifle in an auto loader, get the SR mags.

I was all over it. Better now than later. It may not be there when you need it.

Internet rumor has it that David Tubb bought 1 million of them to last him the rest of his shooting life....

I don't think I've seen anything negative posted about them....

First off Wolf primers are good stuff. I have used alot of the magnum SR primers with great success. $27 to $29 per 1k in these times isn't a bad deal from Wideners, but how many of you were hammered on the UPS ground shipping they are charging? My son Just bought 5k Wolf magnum SR primers from them and lives in the Sacramento area and was charged almost $36 shipping! I ran the numbers on my end to check and the estimate was $11.88 for the UPS ground. He wrote them an email asking why the high shipping and the only response was " well you live in California and we are in Tennessee." This aint done yet and check your shipping charges carfully.

                      Are you sure that your son didn't see the shipping + hazmat? $11 + $25 = $36

The Hazmat was $22.50 and the shipping was $10.74 for 5K for me in Bakersfield.

Well I got off the phone with Wideners in behalf of my son and he made a bonehead mistake by putting in a zipcode for somewhere in Hawaii rather then California when he made his order online. Anyway all fixed and just a note that Mary @ Wideners was nothing short of awesome in handling this issue. A parents work is never done so all's well and end's well!

For some reason they charged me with two hazmat fees. I called and they said they would take care of it.
