SAMMI and CIP to recognize Tensions

I put in a request for both organizations to recognize tensions. The unit of measure will be in guffsters if approved.
Neck tension will be set at 3 guffsters on match grade ammo.
Lets see if it gets approved?

That is an area where we do need some standards so we can all speak the same language. Honestly, if we could have a standard on this subject I don't care what it is called. Frankly, I have a lot of respect for Guffy. He may jump on me sometimes, but I respect his sincerity and his love of the sport. I'd be pleased to have him as a friend.

99 and 44/100 of us speak the same langauge. If he would answer a simple question with a simple answer he would get some respect but when speaking in riddles he helps nobody.
If he hangs out with Bart Bobbit he is most likely a NRA 600-1000 yard military rifle shooter from the 60's up until the 80's.

            No.
Primer pockets are measured in compressions.
Compressions are the inverse of tensions so you use the formula 1/guff to calculate them.

A reloader eats bacon. No reloader knows how to make a timing light for a bicycle. I make tire lights for tricycles. Reloaders don't know about tricycle tire lights. One shooter I met had herpes. He had oatmeal for breakfast. And then there's the UFO problem.

Well, that's the thing. I asked him an honest question once, and got an insulting, condescending riddle in return. Then he claimed he was going to put me on ignore.

Like I've said earlier - he may know a great deal about reloading, and he could well be a fantastic asset to the discussions here. But for some reason he chooses not to be. He's obviously bitter about something, but whatever it is, I don't really care. He adds nothing of value, except comic relief. Too bad, but it is what it is.

I'm still trying to figure out where I can buy some datums. (reference to another classic thread)

                          I already have enough tensions.........
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

All you need to do is wrap some parallels around some spheres and you have datums.
                            Trim as needed.

                              Ok, that's awesome!
I was pretty curious, as I'd never seen one for sale.
I thought maybe one rented datums from BP, but now I can make my own!
