wolf ammunition? long range hunting?

is wolf ammuniton ok? long range hunting do go with hallow point or soft or any other and is 62 grade ok for long distance. im hunting with a 223. any suggestions

Seriously though, if you are doing 200yds or more, you should spend the extra
dough for performance ammo.

Wolf, IMO falls short for ranges past 100yds. if you are seeking clean kills on
Varmints.

If you are talking about Wolf gold, the quality of the ammo vary greatly from batch to batch! From my experience, even if you got lucky with a good batch it's not sub MOA ammo. If you got unlucky, it will be MOP (minute of pie)!

It really also depends where you are hunting and what you are hunting.

Be aware that California has Lead free only places.

So make sure to check DFG.
