    Expansion Ammunition

I visited a local ammo and component dealer to chit chat and he mentioned this relatively new company buying an old ammo plant in Texas and their plan to get it back up and running.

I wish them the best of luck!

Ah, the old "massive corporation pretends to be your friend" bit.

That's cool and all, but theyre not doing anyone any favors. Exp primers are $80 a brick, $5 more than the CCI's I just bought. The more the better, but don't expect them to come save the market with 2018 pricing.

I didn't take this company to be a "massive corporation".

Since 2013, Expansion has gone from a one-man, basement-based operation to something that promises to be much bigger. This primer manufacturing facility is just the first step, which Smissen said will address the biggest bottleneck in the ammo production supply chain at the moment. He added that it’s been challenging to source raw materials for the primers, but Expansion has made it work.
I don't expect them to save the world but who doesn't one at least one more ammo factory located on US soil helping fill demand? As I said in the OP - good luck to them.
