    Ginex Primers

Anyone have any experience with these. Saw some guys online who said they are good to go. Bosnian made, non-corrosive.

My wheel gun didn't like them took a second strike to go bang but they fired just fine in my glocks and 1911. They took a little extra force when seating but besides that no complaints here. Gone through bout 1k so far.

Yep, I've heard that from a few people. Good for semi auto, not good for revo's.

I've never had an issue in a revolver but to be honest with you I haven't loaded that many of them - I bought 15k years back when I couldn't find any Wolf or Tula after whatever panic was going on at the time and while they work I'm not the biggest fan... the problem I have with them is stupid and probably just me being a picky Bastard, the corners/profile of the primers is more squared off than most and is annoying when trying to load them into the tubes

They're more expensive than federal match primers, and that's absurd. Unless you're find them cheaper than $79, hard pass.

I recall during one of the last panics, I had plenty of CCI #41 .MIL-spec(?) Rifle primers, and since handgun primers were in short supply, I used them in 9mm, which my Beretta M9 had no problems using, nor did the wife's Ruger SR-9, but they were new, so the hammer and striker springs were hard hitters.

An old friend of mine had a 9mm hammer-fired pistol, and he had a problem with his handgun w/my #41 primed 9mm ammo (old worn firing pin?), and so did his father-in-law in his (I think his was was a Ruger LC9s, striker fired).

Form what I have read the #41's have a thicker, stronger, brass cup.
            Maybe these are the same?

CCI's with the nickle plated brass cups always slide smooth as butter in to primer pockets, which is why I prefer them, if I can get them...

I just got a brick of CCI SPP and they stopped nickel plating them.

Can we get a pic of the box/packaging?

I think things are looking up these days...

BUT we are not in my happy-place just yet...

Not that I am near out of components, but because that means cases of primers are going to be avail, soon, for almost what they were?

With all the ammo that was unavail for so long, I wonder what all the n00bz stacked, and how people were getting it before they even hit stores?

Got a source for the announcement? I bought some and they were nickel plated. If CCI stopped nickel plating their primers pretty sure it would be news.

Maybe what you got aren't what you think they are? Given the shortage I wouldn't put it past some enterprising frauds to start selling off market primers in brand name boxes.

There are some primers that look like they are copper plated, they come from South America somewhere. $180 /2000

They claim to have them in stock.

They were $399/5K at Midsouth late last week (SPP.)

FWIW, I've loaded and fired several hundred of them in a Pardini HP and a Model 52. I didn't notice any greater difficulty seating them when compared to CCI, and they all fired fine.

That's on par with CCI caps for black powder...
