SAAMI length for 380 acp test barrels is 3.750" and that's typically the length load data would be developed with in a lab environment.
Lyman 48th:
Does your published data in 50 match the data from that 380 page in 48?
If so, how could it be right when the data from 48 says a 3.75" test barrel was used?Randall Rausch

So you got me thinking and I opened my Lyman 47 which specifies a 3-3/4” barrel. Then I look at the 50 and it says 3-1/4”. Until I zoom in with my camera and it’s actually 3-3/4” but the shadow makes it look a lot like 3-1/4 if you don’t zoom in. On the 47, the barrel length is center of the page so it’s a lot easier to read.SAAMI length for 380 acp test barrels is 3.750" and that's typically the length load data would be developed with in a lab environment.
