Yeah, some vendors are getting stock and it's staying ™available" for more than 10 minutes....

          I think it's a positive note.

I don't know about all week, but Brownells and Powder Valley have CCI small rifle primers in stock now.

As a psa, people should check the Powders/Primers In Stock stickied thread more often. That's how I found most of my stuff the past few years.

Those primers in the ad are Remington 6 1/2 rifle primers. They are intended for use in lower pressure rifle like 22 Hornet, 30 Carbine, 25/20, 32/20, 218 Bee etc.

They cannot take the higher pressures in 223 and other high pressure Rifle cartridges because of a thinner primer cup thickness. The 6 1/2's could be used in a pinch in 223, but at lower loads.

The correct Remington S/R primer would be the 7 1/2. They have a thick cup (.025"). The 7 1/2's are one of my go to primers in the 223.

6 1/2's are good pistol primers... But I've seen zero rem primers for a couple years now. Cci's are all over the place. Feds are around lately, wins are uncommon, and rem and s&b don't seem to exist anymore.
