    I seen primers

    Target Sports USA.

$600 per 5000 carton. $120/1000, shipping is free.

Free shipping makes if less than horrific, but still no bargain. But if you need them...

So, what are "we" considering an acceptable price or, dare I ask, a bargain, for primers these days?

I remember buying them for $15 per 1000 (yes, that's 1.5 cents per primer), but that was nearly two decades ago!

I want to buy some, but can't seem to pull the trigger on them at 10 - 12 cents a piece. I have enough for awhile, but the pile keeps getting smaller

Thanks Sig ... sometimes you just have to take what you can get if you want to play.

That's what I figured. I didn't even want to post at first, but then I thought that maybe someone needs some and can't find them.

Current pricing seems to be around $79-$120/1K depending on type (standard and magnum at the low end, BR or match at the upper.)

Bulk (5K+) may save you a bit of money, but not a hell of a lot. And that is if you can find a vendor who will sell in bulk.

I am in the camp that if you need them, it's better to spend what they're asking and get them and go shooting rather than complain and sit at home twiddling fingers.

Midway just had some at 80 per k. 120 is on the high end.

That included shipping and I assume, hazmat. If you're going to buy a whole carton the price is a little high because you only have to pay hazmat once.
