    Lead-Free .22lr

    Has anyone tried these: https://normashooting.com/shop/calib...d-free-qty-50/

I'd rather have Hornady 15.5 grain NTX rounds for my .17 HMR but beggars can't be choosers.

I bought some solid nose rounds at Big-5 and paid $18 per box, so your link is good prices. I will be trying them early this week for the first time. I also bought some Winchester polymer covered copper rounds to try that I hope do not foul the barrel.

I have only tried the CCI Copper, it is garbage!

At 50 yards it's fine, after that the groups get terrible going from 1" at 50 to 4"-5" at 100 yards and going sideways through the paper. I can do better with my .25 PCP.

I can't believe they even sell it but at the time, maybe 2 years ago it was the only legal hunting round in CA.

And you apparently have no clue why accuracy falls off beyond 50 yds.?.?

        Hint: it's ballistic aerodynamics.....
        Better hint: trans-sonics........
Another hint from CCI specs: Bullet wt = 21 grs. Muzzle velocity = 1850 fps.
        Tire kickers gonna kick,
        Nose pickers gonna pick
I and others know the real
