Thoughts on 3N38 for 9mm

I just tried this out with 115gr berry's and 7,8gr charge was accurate but man does it kick for a 9mm. Thoughts or what other loads I should try for this combo?

That’s one of the slowest powders you can stuff into a 9mm. I used 9.4 grains for 9mm major that required a compensator to tame the recoil. Use the minimum published data, and if that is still too stiff, try trading or selling it.

That's some wacky data from VV.

7.2 start for a berry's and 6.5 start for an Xtreme. That doesn't make sense. I'd definitely scale back your nuclear load to 6.5gr and just shoot that. It should just barley make minor.

If you're not shooting a 2011 style open gun or something, a faster powder would be better.
