OUCH - Were there any primers and if so how mush were they going for?
Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.

Sorry for the waste of time. Out here, it's around $30-$33/# but the availability is spotty at around three weeks out of four at Cabelas in TX. That's for H335, BLC-2, W231, W748. I haven't seen any Alliant powders in a while. Primers are even spottier at around 1 week out of four and still priced outrageously at $90/k. At that price, I'll wait and continue to deplete my stock.

I was able to get in on an order directly from Hodgdon recently for some Varget. I got 5 1#'ers and 2 other 1 #ers. The Varget was $42.99 per # and the other powders was just under $40.00 per #.

Tax, shipping and haz mat came to $75.00 !!!

Total cost for the 7#'s I ordered came out to $53.00 per #.

I just looked on the Hodgdon site today and all of the Extreme powders had a cost increase and were at $49.00 per # now.

$50.00 per # is the new normal.

Will the insanity ever end? I really thought we were starting to see primer and powder availability loosen up, but looks like the Ukraine thing or something else caused prices to head back up and availability to go down, AGAIN!
Just two months ago, I scored a lot of different powders I wanted with Powder Valley, some as low as $28. I scored a lot of SRPs in January but the prices were stupid but those were the first primers I had seen in over a year so I paid the toll.

So even though I have a full time career, I'm going to have to get a side gig just to afford having guns, ammo and reloading. Crap.

Those prices seem gougy for sure. Sportsman’s Warehouse sells powder for $30/lb and I’ve found it at LGS for $40-50.

Powder hasn’t been so hard to find that I’d pay double over a National retailer’s price.

+1 It was really way out of range the show was at convention center and was smallll really small ^^ Primers were 175 srp, spp,lg mag primers were 180 nothing of quality otherwise just lots of aftermarket rails for AR's anodized in every flavor!

If you think these prices are bad, I just got back from Reno. This one shop had everything, and I mean everything in stock, and then I realized why. Ammo that most places charge $40 for 20 rounds, they were at $70. H1000 and the Reloaders were $75/lb. I kept wanting to look around and buy a bunch of stuff, but I had to consciously and repeatedly remind myself that everything in there was a rip off.

That place is way overpriced! But they have a lot of stock.

I was at Mark Fore Strike the other day. Yes plenty of over priced powder on hand.
