Sortenout about 3 - 3lb coffee cans of 38spl brass today and came across alot of +P brass. Any difference between reg 38 brass and the +P ? Also, alot of the brass have a ring or rings around the neck area. Do these rings affect reloadind these cases? Thanks....Captn-Tin

For 38Spl brass, there is no difference between standard and +p marked. The "+P" is there to assist in keeping those loads separate from standard loads. This is also true of most other handgun caliber brass. The only cartridge I know of that has different case specifications are the .38ACP/.38Super. The Super caseweb is thicker.

When starline makes .45 ACP +P, it has a reduced case volume from normal .45 ACP brass. Their 9mm on the other hand is just marked differently to help with organization.
