Aguila Ammo Update

For most of last two years, Aguila ammo was absent from my stores in Northern California. I had read rumors of big-rig shipments getting hijacked in Mexico by the drug cartels. So when I went to Shot Show this year, I thought I'd ask the source.

Aguila had one of the largest booths at Shot Show. While not a well known brand in the US, it is one of the largest ammo producers in the world. I really hope they come through and supply match grade 22LR this year.

I love their 60gr SSS round for popping squirrels out to about 80 yards in the local orchards where there are homes. B.

I ran out of match ammo at my last .22 benchrest match. Ended up finishing with Aguila super extra. That stuff was all over the place, my rifle did not like it at all.

I wish Federal still made their Ultra match ammo. That stuff was awesome, and put me in the Winner's Circle more often than not

I wish they would produce a line of non lead ammo. You cannot hunt with any aguila in Ca,

If you were comparing ammunition manufactured in France at the Fer-Chit Factory
to Aguila Ammo you would give all sort of Fer-Chit ammo a bad name.
