WHAT .223 BULLETS FOR RELOADING?

+1 to gose as well..
I do shoot 55s out to 300+ regularly, since I know it's zero better than the 69s. They don't group as well, but I know were they'll hit more reliably, since I've shot them over a longer period of time.
My 55's are the same speed, my 69's about 100fps faster.
If you're primarily shooting the bay area, where 200 is the farthest you'll go.. I'd stick to the 55s.Guns should not have batteries

Where do you guys get the best buys on 55 grainers? (In other words, who has the best deals)?
I've been reloading for over 15 years, but .223 is new to me, so I don't fully have a grasp on the best deals and what constitutes a "good price" yet. (Oh yea...no moly-coated stuff for me...ever)!
And secondly, has anyone experimented with the differences between a round nose vs a spiral bullet? Which do you find more accurate with a 1 in 8 twist?

For 55's I go w/ Montana Gold. They're FMJ-BT's - $270/3,500 shipped direct from them https://secure3.mooseweb.com/montana.../pricelist.tplComment

Awesome.
I just placed an order for 7000 rounds.
This is the first time I've ordered from them, so I'll keep you posted on the customer service...as well as the quality!
