Got one sitting on my kitchen counter running right now.

A little loctite on the bottom nuts is good preventive maintenance. I've had it for a couple of years and have no complaints except for it's size. Too small for the amount that I ended up shooting.

Oh well, could be worse. I could shoot less.

Almost forgot, I use crushed walnut lizard bedding from wally-world with a little nu-polish and mineral spirits with a used dryer sheet to cut down on dust.

Harbor freight may have a few gems hidden in their inventory, but for the most part it is cheap chinese made CRAP. That doesn't mean you are going to find what you want now days this isn't "cheap chinese made CRAP, but I prefer to keep looking and avoid it whenever possible.

I do have to give them, at least the Vallejo store, a The first, time I went in there they had a big display of plastic ammo boxes right by the check out counters. I stocked up on those. Must have been a one time thing, maybe even just something that store had. Oh well. Didn't find much else in there worth taking home.

I stopped in the Orange store on Thursday to look at the same tumbler you are interested in and walked out. To me the price was too high for the quality of the product. I decided to purchase another Lyman. I currently own the 2200 with auto flow and love it. I want another tumbler to clean off the lube of completed ammo. I found what I am looking for and the price will be close to what I would have paid at harbor freight for their tumbler plus tax for the lyman plus shipping.

              Hi Buddy,

I am just now starting out in reloading: so far only have the bench, some cases, and oh I got back a good magnifying work light with compact flourescents I loaned out a while ago. I figure that if I can get some primers, and bullets reasonable it is time to start. So far I sniffed out something at the Angeles Range, but showed up on tuedsay when they are closed. Meanwhile I wanted to clean the cases and took time to look at tumblers. Which brings me to the Harbor Freight machine; it doesnt have a sifter to seperate the media I guess. But do all the bullet specific ones do? I like Natchez, that's where I get ammo.

Keep in touch in Orange, and Much obliged,

              Max

I have one of the harbor freight ones and an older lyman one. I use them both all the time. The harbor freight one is fine, just make sure you tighten the nut that hold the bowl to the base of the unit. Mine losened up and the whole machine started making a lot of noise and moving all over the place. Tightened that nut up and havent had a problem since.

                        harbor freight sells crap period.

I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.

+1 on tightening the nut on the bottom of the bowl...

Had mine for a year (easily 100's of hours) and that's the only problem I have so far!

You can get better deals on better tumblers.

HiYa, Yea, and they are cheap on target ammo too as I see. Alas, it is Sept delivery.
It's too hot to shoot around here anyway. I better learn reloading.

                              Much obliged,
