    Surplus primers available

Bartlett reloading, AKA GI brass , has surplus primers from disassembled ammo. Used to seeing powder, projectiles and brass, but recovering primers is interesting. Not much of a savings, but at least you can buy more than the usual "limit 1" that every other vendor hits us with hazmat surcharge that normally kills any savings.

Shows "Sold out". Still crazy prices. $70.00 per 1000 in 5,000 lots for 50+ Y/O primers. And people bought them

Yeah wonder how they were removed? Wonder if security of anvil seating is compromised?

Me, too. We used to order in bulk when I was heavily into Highpower competition.

I thought primers were crimped in on all military ammo. They are difficult to remove in fired rounds without first removing the crimp.

And these came from 30 carbine ammo. Which has broken a few decapping pins of mine already and bent a Lee universal decapping pin of mine.
