press llighting systems: Starlight or skylight

looking at the starlight extra lighting system that goes between the head and the dies. looks pretty cool. saw the skylight light that shines down from the center of the toolhead.

any recommendations on this? i'm inclined to go for the starlight but just wanted to see if ya'll had comments either way.

    Thanks!

I have the one that's in a U shape with 20 led lights. It sticks to the bottom of the press.

    It's great, I love it.

Inline Fabrication's ceiling lighting kit on my rock chucker. Works great. I think I paid 40 bucks last year.

Honestly, rather than spending $40-$60 on a little tiny press mounted light, just spend $40 to $60 on 2-3 extra 36" long LED light fixtures and mount them right over where you have the press mounted.
You can't have too much light and the little light on the press only lights a tiny little area compared to 2-3 more 36" LED fixtures which will make your bench glow like a nuclear facility in the middle of Siberia.

ah! you mean actual light fixtures. that's an idea! i don't really want my neighbors to see what i'm doing in my front room, though! i'm pretty sure this is non-HOA approved activities. lol

Or Safeway has aluminum foil and masking tape. Gives your house the really weird stay the f*ck away vibe.

yeah, the HOA won't like that look.......i'll get fined. shoot, i got a citation because ups delivered a package at 9pm and i did'nt find out until the next day and they said the package was "unsightly" and that i only have 30 minutes to bring packages inside (even if i'm not home).
