Hey fellas
I'm not happy with my drill motor trimmer. I don't shoot a lot and I have all the time in the world to get the job done right.

What's a good hand trimmer ? I'm looking at only using it for. 308, .223 and 7.62x39.

Cordless screw driver. last about 30 to 40 minutes per charge

and i use the RCBS three way cutter. OS everywhere for now.

I needed a new shaft for my 10 year old trimmer. RCBS sent me a new shaft free last month.

Mark, that Lyman Universal case trimmer looks good. Pretty sure their warranty is fine also.

I'm very happy with Forster. Since bout 1974. Very accurate repeatability. In the 80s got a "neck turning" adapter for it. Which works wonderfully, but PIA to switch.

So got second Forster off E-barf for cheap because it was missing the stop collar. Which only cost IIRC $7 shipping included.

Don't really need a "power adapter" for drill motor use. Just unscrew the handle. And use a keyless chuck.

I have them mounted on a plywood board. Facing opposite directions and clamp it to loading bench facing whichever way needed. Trim or Turn.

They also make a 3 way cutter for the Forster which I picked up a year and half ago. Works amazing with the power adapter. Just need to extend the mount chuck and the guide chuck for the cutter rod. Only problem is you need to buy one for each diameter and I paid $70 each. But IMO well worth the time saving and consistancy.
