Hi Gunners,

I've got a Lyman All American 4 station press and have been gathering dies in most of my calibers.

Are the dies specific to the brand, or can you use any die in any press? Thanks, PAX

You can use almost any die set on any platform. You do not have to buy lyman dies. Today almost all dies are of the same diameter and will fit any other brand. I think you will be fine. Good luck and enjoy.

I haven't reloaded yet, because I still have a mountain of inexpensive ammo, but have been picking up die sets as I find them. PAX

1ST Buy the Lyman #50 Reloading Manual and READ IT!! That will answer 90% of your questions and still has good data in it.
It would have answered the question you just asked also.
