RCBS Customer Service - The Best!

I have all RCBS reloading equipment (except for a few odds and ends) and have reloaded for 25+ years. I've only had to call CS a few times for minor issues but every time, part was replaced, no questions asked and no charge.

I would explain the issue, next thing I was asked name and address and part was sent out right away. Sometimes doubled the Qty.

Yesterday no different. My brother just got into reloading for his 9mm and the latest RCBS carbide die set had a newly designed "stepped expander plug" (picture attached). Works much better than the "tapered" expander plug that I have in my older die set.

I couldn't find it on their website in order to purchase one. I called CS, explained the situation and the guy took my name and address and told me he was going to send one to me as a "warranty" claim - no charge. I was willing to pay for it but he wouldn't hear of it.

GREAT company and I told him so.

I agree RCBS customer service is second to none. They have replaced several parts for me at no charge.

Going to the M-die configuration. Assuming they got the diameters correct, they work much better, with less working of the case mouth (meaning splits don't happen as fast.)

Yeah, I'm going to look into these expander plugs for other straight-wall handgun calibers I load for (if they make them):

> .45 ACP
> .45 Colt
> 454 Casull

I've been using RCBS ever since I started reloading, but have yet to call them for anything. Great to know that if I ever do, they will take care of me.

Same here. They just ask for name, address and phone number and shipped parts out without any charges.

I agree. I've had the Rock chucker for decades and many RCBS products. I rarely have to call them, but when I do, they respond with great service.

I was reloading for years and never paid more than 5 seconds of consideration between the meaning of the words 'expander' and 'flare'.

It is not RCBS, but the principles are the same. Great topic OP.
