I was uneasy at first when I saw measurements in g that didn't equate to what it should have been in grains. Theoretically, they are just units of measure but for safety's sake I would always keep to the same units so you can see discrepancies immediately. Your safe reloading future will depend on consistency. As an example, when measuring powder, 1 gram is 15 grains. The tolerance for overpressure is only a few grains.
