It isn't required for target shooting in the condor range.

/I'm curious what you are hunting with a .45acp

pg3 of that pdf speaks about the continued legality of lead-containing projectiles for non-hunting purposes in the Condor range.

the only thing i can think of now is the discontinued aguila iq 117 grain aluminum bullet and maybe the frangibles that are (copper tin) compressed

45 ACP Federal LE Ballisticlean 155gr. Non toxic ammo is pricey.

Some people interpret the law that you have to carry non-lead in a defensive side arm while hunting.

I am not the hunter type. Asking for a friend that was stopped and revised by a Forest Ranger last season. He had the proper hunting bullets in his rifle, but was told he needed nonleaded ammunition for the USP45 he was carrying. Yeah, I know WTF

There are lots of officers who aren't familiar with the regs I met my share taking required annual peace officer recertification classes.

When I hunt, I carry Corbon non-lead ammo in my .357 revolver along with .38 spl snake loads. Corbon uses Barnes copper bullets in their DPX ammo, but the package doesn't say that.
