Local farm store has 50 round boxes of Remington for 16.99.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

This is why being set up to handload is so important. Not only do you save money, but you also ensure availability of practice ammo.

Another benefit, specific to those in California, is that you bypass that ridiculous "Mommy, may I?" begging-the-state process for permission to buy ammo.

It's important, especially for Californians, to roll their own.

Ammoshoponline has both decent prices and availability. They will ship to CA w/03FFL and COE.

            9mm for $15.50 (Geco) or $15.75 (Norma) w/free shipping.

What I am curious about, is why local stores in the Sacramento area have little to no 9mm on the shelves. This place has at least 100 cases (100,000 rds).

                  Layton UT has 82,000 people.
                  Sacramento county has 1,600,000 people.

                  That could be a factor.

Layton is 20 minutes away from SLC. Our entire valley has almost 3 million people in it.

Funny. I thought the prices looked good, then I read per 50.

That shop has all that ammo because of their prices

Bass Pro in Roseville never has their brand of 9mm in stock for $16.99 a box, but you go to a close FFL shop and their 9mm is on the shelves at almost $25-$30 a box, and that is with Sacramento's overall metro population of almost 2.5 million

That must be a big valley in Utah because Salt Lake City's metro population is barely 1 million with the whole state of Utah at 3.3 million.
