My Buddy sent 1000 .223 cases to him & they came back beautiful!

I mailed the guy 1000 .223 case in a USPS flat rate $10.35 box on Saturday. I got an email today, saying they were on the way! Can't wait to see them !

So it cost $30 for processing & $20.70 shipping total. Still a bargain when I figured it took at least 2 min. to process one case at a time..I can't work that cheap.

People are trying to pay off their 1050's. $27 is a great price especially for all the work it takes even with a 1050.

Yea, i calculated how long it'd take me to trim all this stuff and i went down a similar path as you. I really don't know why sending brass off to get trimmed hasn't caught on yet. The price is certainly right.
Range pick up or surplus brass is much cheaper than buying new. Dunno how availability is nowadays though. Even if you use a Giraurd or equivalent, you still have to size, lube, tumble, and possibly swage first! That's like 3/4's the battle right there..... Granted some guys are going to want to neck size and stuff, but for 50 bucks you get a heck of a bang for your buck. I remember sending CSACannoneer a dirty heap of 308 and it came back all nice and shiney. Cutting open that box was like opening up a treasure chest.

Who's this?? Dunno about the swaging. Guess I'll find out how fast this weekend. Still takes time, could be something I could set my dad up with, he's itching to do stuff now that he's officially retired. Giraud is too slow for doing this btw, either a 650 or 1050 would be the ticket, but a 1050 setup for this would be in the $2k range, I guess if you do 100 of them your press is paid for though. Oh, I found tonight that 14/20 corncob with a dab of nu-finish works *****ing for making cases shiny. I'm going back out to the shop to stare at a bucket of .308.

I have used Danny's service before and was pleased with the results and the turnaround time....now I just need to find a pile of 308's for free without my back going out on me or my backside getting a sunburn.....LOL
