    Redding Pro Series dies

Anybody have a Redding 'Pro Series' die set? That's Redding's series that are made for progressive reloaders and are supposed to have wider mouths than their standard dies. I'm wondering what the lettering at the top of the die is supposed to be.

Just got a set (because .45 acp cases are jamming on the size die in my XL650) and the pro-series size die looks suspiciously similar (actually exactly the same) as the non-pro series size die. Calipers show the two dies have exactly the same mouth dimensions as well. . . .

Per the Redding web page, it sounds like the dies have a wider radius on the opening (hence, slightly more rounded edges), but I'd expect the actual opening to be the same size as your other (Dillon?) size die. If it wasn't, it wouldn't size the case properly. I presume you are using carbide/titanium nitride sizer dies?

Have you contacted Dillon to get their advice? They are most helpful.....

My other size die is actually the same Redding Titanium Carbide, except not the Pro Series.

I did talk with Dillon earlier today. Will have to try them again tomorrow.
