    10mm load simulation (QuickLoad)

If anyone is using QuickLoad and has the time to spare, would you please run a couple of simulations for the 135 Nosler HP, the 185 XTP and the 200 XTP? Specifically I am looking at BlueDot and 800X.

There are some old posts from Mike McNett of DoubleTap ammo that show some pretty hot loads (in the 700~mid-800fpe range), but I am concerned about the pressures. Not that it is the same as measuring, but I am curious to see what QuickLoad estimates the pressures at (in a 6" barrel loaded to the cartridge max of 1.26").

    Thank you in advance.....

What pressure do you want them run up to?

Thank you Randall. SAAMI limit for 10mm is 37,500psi.

If you have a chance would you be so kind as to run the same with 800X?

The data is a bit scattered through several threads so I am still trying to wade through it, but some of the numbers he is listing are hard to believe (at least that they are safe). For example, he lists a 220gr Precision Bullet:

        9.5gr 800X PB220 - 1329fps

...and that same bullet sitting over 10.0gr BlueDot @ 1345fps.

Man...I really need to "bite the bullet" so to speak and order QuickLoad...Looks like a real useful tool to get you "in the ballpark".

Thank you again for your time/help Randall...

No problem. Thanks very much for your time.

Wow....those BD loads at 120+% are pretty compressed.

            Thank you again Randall.
