So, towards the middle of last week I resolved that I was finally going to get beyond sketching out database schemas, and I was actually going to WRITE this application.
It's an interactive caliber conversion lookup for the Dillon 550 and 650. Tell it which calibers you have, and the calibers you want, and it will compute which INDIVIDUAL parts you would need in order to get the calibers you want. So, if you're only a locator button and a station 1 locator away from a different caliber, this application will tell you. Or if you happen to have the parts you need already, it'll make sure you know about it.
BTW, make sure you click 'Spreadsheet View' and 'Compute Conversion' modes - you get more info in Compute mode (SKU, etc) but you get a better overview in Spreadsheet mode. I may one of these days set it up so that you can print a quick-reference PDF to hang by your reloading station... just the calibers you have.
YES, the system is multiple machine and multiple manufacturer aware.
I'm hassling Dillon right now to see if I can get an "add parts to cart" option interacting with their website...
More calibers are coming... priority will be given to calibers requested in the thread.
Update, 7/10/09: It does the 550 too now. Next up: 1050 or Square Deal...
