158 full range wadcutters??

I was just reading ed mcgiverns book and he mentions 158 gr full range wadcutters , not semi wad cutters.
has anyone ever seen a box???

A full wadcutter is a target bullet and usually made from dead soft lead. It basically looks like a miniature tin can, same diameter bottom to top. Loaded flush with the case mouth so you can't even see that the case is loaded unless looking at the top doesn't allow much room for powder so normally are low powered which is good because they'd lead badly under power. Some of them are hollow based to ensure obturation to form a seal in the barrel when fired.

Hard cast wadcutters are available as well and can be fired at higher velocities as leading is less of a problem.

They leave nice clean holes in paper targets.

158 , not traditional 148 wadcuttter

greetings, seeking 158 full range wadcutters , and not the traditional 148 mid range. I have not beena ble to find any one who swadges or casts 158 gr wad cutters.
