Not originally mine. Came from a deceased family member. I want to say when I weighed it a few weeks ago it was 4.21 pounds I figured being an older jug it should weigh more than .21 pounds. When I do put it up I’d like to be someone close so the buyer doesn’t feel ripped off.

Some of those canisters were made from some type of parchment paper. Where are you located?

When you put it up for sale, you should change your description from "Herco" to "Unique".

Standard cardboard. I recently emptied a 12# jug of 452AA that I bought in the 80's.

Why not? Bowl (I'd suggest metal, but glass would be good too), paper bag; doesn't really matter if you're only holding it long enough to weigh the canister. I'd avoid plastic, though, as you may get static problems and end up with powder stuck all over it.

A canister that old you never know if it's the original powder or not. Especially second hand. CYOA disclaimer.
