I am thinking about getting the Lee Pro 4000....based on reasonable price, availability and not having the need for more than 300-400 rounds a month. Anyone have firsthand experience?

with that round count(or more) get a single stage press and other than lee. Same with dies and other stuff such as scales. RCBS/Hornady/Redding/Lyman are all better choices with a far better warranty.
You will be far better off.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
