Two questions: Is this powder ok for 75grain .223 and...

Has anyone loaded their .223 in 75 grain bullet with Accurate 2230? How was it? Also how many rounds can you roughly load with an 8lb jug? Thanks!

Accurate says that AA 2230 has the wrong burn rate for the 75 grain bullet in the 223.

The heaviest bullet that they recommend with AA 2230 is the 64 grain BRG HP using 20.3 - 22.5 grains with the top load at 54,915 psi but they have loads going down to the 36 grain bullets so it seems more suited for lighter bullets in the 223.

I'll have to go back to my notes, but I think I've used DP73 (almost like 2230)with 75gr stuff. I had to drop down to a little under 21gr IIRC. Didn't function too well in my mid length AR.
