Reloaders Willing to Help??

Any reloaders willing to help me with some tips and show me the ropes on reloading? Have started a couple months ago but want to learn to understand Ogive and seating depths for better accuracy.

I'd recommend for starters getting a case length gauge of some kind (Hornady Lock-n-Load?), a GOOD micrometer and projectiles that you want to use in the barrel you want to shoot them out of. Each rifle barrel is unique and you'll need to precisely know at what length that bullet hits the rifling in that barrel. After that, listen to what the rifle tells you on seating depth by what you see on the paper. And, as always, start with a safe load and watch for signs of pressure. It's a long road to travel; but worth it. Be careful, be deliberate and watch the groups shrink.

This is my approach,there are many ,but this is mine.
Choose a bullet and powder, load for a ladder test.
Once you get good results,you can play with other variables.
I full length size and set overall length to spec.

Are you reloading straight walled cases( handgun) or bottle neck cases( rifle i.e. 223, 308)?

If you are going to take Reloading to the next level then obtaining professional tools is paramount.

There are a few very knowledgeable reloading here. I'd start by asking them for a reading list and a
tools list first. Turning out professional grade cartridges with off the shelf Chinese grade copies of
the real tools is a fantasy. And there isn't much room on the Range for fantasy.
