Used brass, what do I do with it?

Hi! Everyone has been telling me to grab my brass when I am done shooting so I have (albeit not very diligently) and now after four times at the range I have an ammo can almost filled with old brass. 9, 40, some 45 and 223 (I left all the Wolf and blecky stuff behind vowing never to re-buy Wolf again). So now what do I do? Feeling kinda stupid with an ammo can filled with brass. I don't have the space or time to consider reloading myself and no clue if I am supposed to sell it or trade it or what. It's that second sized can, not the smallest one and shortly I won't even be able to lift it, pout. I live in Orange County if that helps.

it's trading stock, you can use it to trade for ammo or whatever you like... it's like money at this point with interest

Find a shooting buddy who reloads. Have him teach you reloading in exchange for brass cases. You both win!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Get a couple of 5 gallon plastic buckets, start sorting the brass by caliber, one caliber per bucket. Once you got a bucket full you can sell it for money or if by then you've decided to start reloading, you'll have plenty of brass to reload.

+1 You work out a deal - someone teaches you how to do reloading and you trade some brass that they want in exchange for use of their gear - everybody wins and the govt. doesn't get a piece of the action!!

$75-$90 per k on once fired .223 sell it.

I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.
