Bullets tumbling???

There's no need to crimp 9mm at all, so any crimp is sort of over crimped. A pulled bullet should have no ring.

A mega-crimp is something you do to rounds for a revolver, typically. For 9mm, you do want to crimp if you flared the mouth, but just a light taper crimp; you're looking to remove the flare, not emboss the bullet.

That's not crimping, more like crushing.

I've loaded thousands of Xtreme's and had to pull a few, never had more than a slight line in the coating. Even for 9mm revolver rounds I had no indent in the bullet and never had a setback issue.

This is my thought also. I never get a ring around the projectile like that. Mine mic out at .378-9 with no ring 🤔🤔

Damn that a LOT of crimp. Way too much for a plated projectile, I'd even bet you're resizing them to .355 or smaller.

Also looks like you are measuring below the crimp. True your mic sideways and measure right at the edge of the brass to bullet.

Appears to me its the crimp...I would ease up on the crimp at first and see what happens.
