    Hodgdon Superperformance

Anyone played with this powder? Looks like it's burn rate is between IMR 4831 and 4350, so a magnum powder. Was thinking of using it in place of my IMR 4831 loads but with heavier bullets, like say a 215 grain pill in my 300 Win Mag. My main concern is the 4831 is temperature sensitive and the newer powder seems more stable.

    Any thoughts?

I tried it in a couple of cartridges. Was not impressed.
I do not load 200-215gr bullets in my 300win mag. If I want that weight bullet I just get out my 338win mag and be done with it. So I am not much help on this one.

    Good Luck.

I use it for 243 with Barnes TTSX.

Divernhunter, look in to Brian Litz's 300WM load with 230 Berger hybrids. It's verryyyy impressive.
