Concord is in Contra Costa county. The Walmarts in Contra Costa and Alameda County do not sell ammo in their stores. In order to build and get approval for any Walmart Mega store in those two counties, Walmart caved in and removed all hunting and ammunition items from their stores in those two counties. Not a county decision, a Walmart decision to continue growth. I was in one of the Walmarts the day it was being pulled off the shelvesComment

Doesn't that technically mean that at some point Walmart can say: we got what we need (new stores). Walmart starts selling ammo and hunting supplies again?
Since there's no law, more a handshake agreement, this is technically possible.
Mike - The closest ones to us that sell are Fairfield, Vallejo or Milpitas. Fremont is still Alameda.Comment
