Reloaders in OC willing to help

    Hello,

I really don't have the ability to have my own reloading setup at this time. I'm trying to learn and am wiling to do any of the dirty work. I can also contribute any necessary funds. Please PM me with info. Thank you

Anyone can learn to reload with a 40 dollar Lee Loader.

Lee Precision, the nation's number one manufacturer of reloading equipment for over 50 years presents its full inventory of quality products.

      Hello,

Thank you. Unfortunately, it looks like they don't have 10mm

I'm also willing to split costs on a setup if you have the space for it

You've picked the worst time in the history of the world to start reloading.

Take a class. CRPA has one in Fullerton. Also other facilities teaching as well.

I may be wrong, but I thought that the OC Reloading store across from the Honda Center/Pond would help you and let you use their equipment if you bought the components there. I know "back in the old days," many gun shops would do that.

It's never the wrong time to learn and I'm sure someone will chime in. Unless you're telling me gun people are a bunch of self-interested hoarders. Eventually every reloader buys a second and more rigs so if you have to, start with that cheap single stage. I would go with a turret press again if I had to do it all over again.

There's no primers available in a reasonable way. You used to be able to buy 5000 primers online for about $150 and ship them to your house.

Now there's just plainly nothing in stock, but sometimes you can find someone willing to sell off 1000 for $150, but they can't be shipped, and its just a hassle.

If you really want to learn, it might be easier to do all the footwork to buy primers first. I'm sure someone would be glad to help you out if you had primers in hand already. Asking for someone to share all their gear AND primers is... a lot. To say the least.

                    IDK: Needing..

                    Primers
                    Powder
                    Projectiles
                    Press + Dies

Looks to me like OP is phishing for an easy access path to 10mm ammo without paying current $$$$.

After buying the components from people that actually have them for sale at this time, it's less expensive to buy loaded ammo.

There is a place in Los Angeles county, near Covina area (???) , they rent out the reload press, I do not remember the name but some guys here will. You can go there and rent the press reload by your self. People in this forum they do not know you so they will not let you use their equipment.

You can actually buy 10mm, unlike some other calibers.
