    OMG BOUGHT PRIMERS!!

Checked Midway, like I do 3 times a day for the year, and I couldn't belive it they have CCI SRP and SRPM. Of course SRP showed in stock but wasn't, the mags were and swooped em up. Been out of those for like a month, and cost me $100. God damn rip off but whatever,1k only incoming!

3 times a day for a year? You would be money ahead if you just paid scalper prices in the marketplace.

I had enough throughout the year. I have enough loaded ammo for awhile. Just needed a little back up and well im down to 400 SRP so no I didn't pay 200 or 150 per k, I paid 100 (only because I couldn't take advantage of haz mat, was 75 per k before tax, delivery and haz mat).

Can anyone confirm these can be used for 556? I've read quite a few posts online saying they are fine for 223/556 and also 300 blackout.

I've never used magnum primers just standard small rifle

Most standard pistols and rifles, as long as you haven't done anything to the firing pin, can use interchangeable primers. The difference between rifle and pistol cup sizes might cause issue in some brass as far as seating flushness. Now I haven't tried SRP in pistol yet but I did use SPMP in some 9mm hollowpoint rounds I made. Powder charge on the high end but not max. Clocked 115gr XTP at 1275 to 1320 FPS out of a 4" and 124 VCrowns at 1150 to 1200 fps. A little snappy but I would consider it +p. I'll test out the SRPM when they get in but I also don't load hot. My 62gr FMJs only get 2600ish FPS, but they match the ACSS reticle out to 500 yds surprisingly.

Can't edit on phone but power factors on above rounds are in the 150 range. That the power factor required for some pistol matches so they seem to be right in the wheel house. SRP, I assume, is same formulation to SPMP. So I do not forsee any issues.

If they didn't cap it at 1k, the scalpers would buy up everything and resell on gun broker. I was able to buy 1k small pistol last week and 1k small rifle today. 100 bucks for 1k is still better than any of the prices here.

Notifications haven't worked for me. I just randomly check and you gotta get lucky.

I signed up for notifications over a month ago and have not gotten one single notification.

Good gawd, what a blood bath. The lesson here is.... when prices level out load up on EVERYTHING. Make a reloading area with storage and pack it full. Never worry about ammo again. 150 bucks for primers is freakin ridiculous.

I'm just cherry picking stuff now in case this lasts a couple of years.
