    M1 garand primer question

A friend of mine has some winchester large rifle magnum primers he wants to give me in trade for some work.
I'm wondering if these will work or will the pressures be too high for loading ammo for my garand.
    Thanks

Start 5% under the normal starting loads and you should be good to go.

Should work just fine. As mentioned, back off of your normal load a little.

Drop your loads a bit and they should be fine.

Just remember, to chamber your rounds through the enbloc. If you single load one directly into the chamber and let the bolt run forward there is the slight possibility of a slamfire. Running the round from the enbloc will slow the bolt enough to not worry about a slamfire.
