Where are you going that has a 200 yard range?

My local range (USI in Concord) has a 200 yard line, but it's only open certain days... day's I'm never available.

Need to tweek that load a little. Group should be somewhere between 1" and 2".
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

Yeah, and the scope I have on the .308 isn't the best either - but overall I was fairly pleased - pleased that I got to go out and finally shoot the .308 at the 200 yd. range with my son. One guy there asked me, 'Are you happy today.' - and I said, 'Yes, I am. Thanks for asking.' At the end of the day that is all that is really important.

Yes, a bad day at the range beats a good day working.....

If you are looking for closer holes in paper, you might consider looking at a match bullet (like a Sierra Match King). What rifle are you shooting?

If you are looking for a hunting round, I'm sure that what you've got there will do just fine.

i think the 200 yard range in concord is only open to members, non members can use the 100 yard

SMK 168 or Scenars 155 for better accuracy. SMK 175 for shooting to 1k. Stick with the varget 44-46gr. CCI BR2 primers if you can find them.

Not to be an ***** but that groups pretty big. Like others have said, what gun are you using? And Im sure if you tweek the load, you can get much better groups.

I think my 10/22 can get just about that kind of group, well a few inches added to the group but its a 22LR at 200 yards:

Either way though, like you said, as long as you got to spend time with your son, that is really all that matters.
