I saw some .40 and .223 in Colma on Sunday, no .22 or 9mm though. I think I saw .45 as well.

wow... anywayz Big 5 has always had a pretty good supply of ammo in capitola, but the prices are rediculous. WWB 100 rd "value" packs of .45 are usually $54...

I went into my closest big 5 and asked for 9mm. The manager said he gets it in every Tuesday and its all sold by Wednesday. So I guess I'm going in on Tuesday at lunch and can get a price / maybe buy some.

Big 5 in Santa Barbara had lots of ammo when I was there about 3 weeks ago. .223, and 9mm specifically.

Big 5 prices arent the cheapest but seem to always have a few boxes of .45acp and 9mm everytime I call them.

I've been buying a couple of boxes of whatever they get in every week for a couple of months. Caliber is hit or miss, sometimes boxes of 9mm and .40, or boxes of 45, usually Remy UMC. I scored a couple of boxes of the 250 packs of 9mm for $80. The 50 round boxes go for 9 - $16, 40 - $22, 45 - $25. I felt real lucky a couple of weeks ago when I got 2 boxes of 9 xtphp for $17 ea!
