I have to buy some powder

My last order was for a load of H4350, R15, IMR4064, H4895, AA2520, Varget, BLc-(2) and CFE223 and has lasted me almost 6 years.

I'm getting low on H4350, I've checked a few regular suppliers but they are completely out. Does anyone have a source?

Marketplace, driving around and checking every reloading site everyday up to 3 to 4 times a day for the off chance they have it in stock. I have scored powders throughout this entire time using above methods. You may have to buy powders new to you but usable in your cartridge. Accurate has been most in stock online. Learned new recipies for AA2230, AA2460, AA4477, etc.

Powder availability is spotty. But, it's coming in on a regular basis. There are 3 websites I visit throughout the day. MidwayUSA, Midsouth Shooters Supply, and Precision Reloading. All 3 have been getting powder shipments in on a regular basis. Each of their websites allow you to filter their smokeless powder inventory by what's in stock/available. Once you do that, book mark that page and save it to your desk top (on P.C.), or make it available on your home page (Android). Doing this makes it far easier to check the stock as you won't be spending precious time navigating through the site. You have to be quick too, so I suggest making accounts on all these sites to make check out faster. Midway stores payment info, so that makes check out even faster. Also, all these sites allow for stock notification. Pick the powder/s your looking for and get in their notification list. You'll get an email from them once it becomes in stock. But like I said before, you have to be quick and constantly checking your emails or the links you have created. Once you start doing this, it won't be long until you have spent a bunch of money on powder. "

You can scrounge here, there, and everywhere, but if your time is worth something there's always gunbroker. Beware the one pound auction though. I've seen it sell for well over a hundred bucks for one pound, but you get much better deals even with just two pounds.

Set ammoseek alerts and be ready at a moments notice. Search reloading discord too.

I’ve had luck just randomly checking sites. Powder valley is good too

Just looked on reloading sales some knucklehead selling powder $110 a lb Really?
was in Reno over the weekend.
Scheels had powder $32.00 lb accurate for 223 among others
              3lb to a customer.
              CCI Primers $48.00 per 1000 1 to a customer.
              And fully stocked on bullets.
They had some ammo but you gotta burn it up in NV. No doggie bags.
I used to reload so I could shoot more, now I shoot more so I can reload more.

Gunbroker had a couple of people selling 8lb jugs of Varget for over a thousand dollars a few weeks ago.

Only 2 left in stock at time of posting https://www.powdervalleyinc.com/product/hodgdon-h4350/

                    $34.50 for 1 lb of H4350

They also have 4 lb's of IMR 4895 currently last I checked. That powder may work for you.

I was able to barter primers for powder recently, and the trade was 1:1 pre-panic price equiv.-trade... end of last year, or was it beginning of this year?
Either way, if you have something someone else needs, and it is a fair trade on both sides, eff-it...

From my experience, you need to figure out two things
                        1) When your local sportsmans (or similar) receives their trucks. Mine is weekly, Thurs-Fri and night crew works the load so they don't get harassed during the day.
                        2) When everyone shows up before doors open, for me that is 2hrs morning after the load arrives.

Then just be consistent and make damn sure you're first in line, they will usually get ONE jug in of H4350 and it might take a few weeks to get it but you won't pay the absurd $1,000 price on gunbroker.

Thanks Guys, I have 8 Lbs left but that goes fast when multiple rifles like it. I have a few other powders that I can use in the 243 so I'll just save the 4350 for my 6.5x284. I'm sure that I have enough hunting ammo loaded for the 270 and 7mm so I won't need to load for those.

Maybe I'll offer to trade people SP and SR primers for some.

My local ammo bros had a case delivered today. They also had h335 and bl-c(2) and superperformance.

H4350 has always been hard to get, even in "normal" times because it is very popular - especially with the 6.5CM crowd. That's why I've avoided it.

Turns out, my 6.5CM likes 4831 better..... lucky me. Too bad you're not near Boise, I have a partial pound of 4350 I'd give you.
