    Came across some old cartridges today. Can anybody identify these?

    With the silver colored bullets they are more than likely 7.9x57(8mm), or 7.65x53, Mauser rounds. I have a bunch of pulled bullets just like that from some Turkish made 7.9x57 Mauser.

          Just so happens the guy who gave them to me has an 8 mm Mauser. He thought they were 30-06.

              Czech export ammo. Not turk, though looks just like it aside from the headstamp.
