32 ACP Dies

Been looking for a set of 32 ACP dies unsuccessfully for a while now. Anyone have a set in the SAC, east of Sac area I could borrow for an afternoon. I only have 100 pieces to reload. Thanks in advance

I haven't seen those rounds at Sportsmans in a while either. I guess manufacturers can make more money marking up 9,40,45 and 38/357. For a while 32 and 25 were the only ones in the ammo cabinets.

I have an older RCBS steel set of dies that will do both 32 SWL and 32 ACP. Just use different shell holders. Apparently the .32 handgun cartridges are very similar diameter and wall thicknesses.

To be clear, it appears that RCBS and Hornady both have different sizing dies for 32ACP and 32SWL (currently.) Seater and expander are different as well (but that's to be expected due to length of the cases and different crimps.)

32 SWL dies work with 327 Federal and 32 H&R Mag.

Not saying you can't use them for 32ACP (they are the same diameter AFAIK.) I don't reload 32ACP.

Not arguing about using dies named for the cartridge you're using, it's just that the dies I have, the label specifies that the set can be used for both. Haven't actually used them however, don't own a .32 ACP platform.

Fair enough, Mike.

My Hornady dies (about 7 years old now) have the 3 that I listed named on the box. No ACP. Current catalogs for Hornady and RCBS indicate the same. That's all I was saying.
