    funky lacquer

I ordered some privi partisan ss109 and the green lacquer on the tips is chipped in places and unequal in others. Should I just leave it as is or use a solvent like acetone to remove it completely?

Will it effect the round's accuracy? I'll be shooting at 300 yds max.

No need to do anything. The green paint is just there for identification purposes. M855/SS109 spec ammo is not match ammo by any stretch of the term, so don't worry about the possibility of any accuracy changes.

you might want to take a paper towel and give each one a wipe to keep paint flakes out of your action. If you want to be a little bolder rolling the round in very fine steel wool.

I'd agree that accuracy isn't at stake so there isn't any reason to be overly concerned.

PPU makes a whole spectrum of ammo. they have a match grade if you are going for a more accurate round
