    6.5 Carcano Question

"The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke speech of 23 April 1770, "Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents," delivered to the House of Commons.

IF you have any 7.35 Carcano brass, you could neck it down but, DON'T! I'd trade you for 6.5 Carcano brass for any boxer primed 7.35 you find. Both 6.5 and 7.35 boxer primed brass is out there, it just isn't the most common brass around.

YES you can. But any parent case other than the 7.35 that CSA mentioned requires specialized equipment and processes. Such as a lathe and heavy swaging dies to reduce the cartridge bases and recutting the extractor grooves.

The Carcano's used odd ball specific base/rim diameters that don't match any other parent cases.
